Every Christmas, I receive at least one book (Though normally 3-6 ish). Last Christmas one of those books was “Life’s Little Instruction Book, 511 suggestions, observations, and reminders on how to live a happy and rewarding life”by H. Jackson Brown, Jr. (Rutledge Hill Press. Nashville, Tennessee). I’ve fallen in love with the funny, and at times serious, and always helpful advice that this little book provides.
When I first got the book, I planned to read one thought a day to keep my mind open and keep perspective. Sadly, I read through them all in about 2 days. They’re a little addictive, mostly because of the humor mixed with real and useful advice. My plan is to post about 5 of the little thoughts every day, along with my thoughts on them. Here’s some 15 year-old philosophy.
