Today Is The Day

School starts today! There goes a lot of my free time. Oh, well I guess I will have to get used to sitting at a desk instead of a sewing machine. From now on most of my stuff is going to be posted either fairly early in the morning, or fairly late at night. Help! All my sewing time is turning into homework time! I love school, but can I have more time to sew?

Thanks for reading!

  1. (((hugs))) same thing happens when a quilter has a job or children (or both) you almost have to schedule time for your craft…we’re all there with you! you do fabulous work!

  2. I remember that feeling at the start of each year of teaching! A wise person said to me, “To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:…” Ecclesiastes 3. I often remind myself, “Times and Seasons.” I’m not saying it helps, only that I remind myself! =)

  3. Treat system. What is that you say? Homework first then treat yourself to 5, 15 or 30 minutes of sewing. Every minute adds up to an hour and before you know it, you have a completed quilt.

  4. you will find time (as will mom now that she is teaching) will just have to pace yourself..15 minutes here and there can really add up…enjoy school…i loved it…
